AMTI maintains its ISO/TS 16949:2002 registration.

AMTI is pleased to report that the Bureau Veritas certification was confirmed on October 16 after a three-day surveillance audit. AMTI maintains its ISO/TS 16949:2002 registration.
 
"We are very pleased to continue certification," says AMTI CEO and president Larry Hatch. "We know we are doing a good job, but its always good to have that reaffirmed by an outside source that reviews our operations with a fine tooth comb."

In addition, three staff members recently achieved certification through the Bureau Veritas as ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditors. The Automobile Industry Action Group (AIAG) specifies quality system requirements on top of ISO9000. 
 
"ISO/TS 16949 registration is important because it confirms to industry that we are capable of producing products of world-class caliber", says Quality Manager Ken Talbott.  

The ISO/TS 16949 certification includes these additions which are over and above what is required by ISO9000: Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan, Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Production Part Approval Process, Measurement Systems Analysis and Statistical Process Control.  These insure that quality is built into our processes from product conception through design and manufacturing. 

AMTI also renewed certification of our two internal IPC trainers recently. Certifications include 610D and 7711/7722. These captive resources enable us to maintain the highest level of direct employee certifications.
