Location and Directions:
AMTI is located at the eastern edge of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Lynchburg Virginia. The city, approximately 50 sq miles in size, is located near the geographic center of the state approximately 180 miles southwest of the nation's capital, Washington, DC.
Driving from the North or South on Route 29:
As you approach the Lynchburg area, take Route 29 Business to the Lynchburg Expressway/US 501 North. Follow US501 North to the Graves Mill Road Exit #11. Turn left (West) on Graves Mill road. Continue on Graves Mill Rd to Millrace Drive. Turn Left and follow the road to 28 Millrace Drive.
Driving from the East or West on Route 460:
Exit route 460 on to Route 29 Business North. Follow route 29 BUS north to the Lynchburg Expressway/US 501 North., Follow US 501 North to the Graves Mill Road Exit #11. Turn left (West) on Graves Mill road. Continue on Graves Mill Rd west to Millrace Drive. Turn Left and follow the road to 28 Millrace Drive.
